Living in the same town Brock Lesnar makes me something of homer but I still loved seeing Lesnar take out Randy Couture.

Brock works hard and is a very low key guy. I get to deal with him once in awhile as he comes into my work and I get to help him out. Both he and his wife are very nice, but you can tell Brock gets annoyed if people start noticing him bugging him for autographs or making a fuss about him. I ran into him one day at Culvers, we acknolwdged each other and that was it. I let him be. A few minutes later, some recognized him and you got hear this recite Brock's life story.  The whole time, Brock just kept eating his food and shaking his head.

As for all you hardcore MMA fans out there that cream their pants every time they think about BJJ (no it doesn't stand for Blow Job Job), this fighting style is not the be-all end-all of fighting styles for MMA. Yes, you need to be proficient, but having no other skills isn't going to help you beat a freak like Lesnar. For BJJ to effective, the person to be on the ground. Couture was a world class greco-roman wrestler and he couldn't take Lesnar to the mat. What in the world makes these BJJ tards think that Nog is going to be able to get him to the mat? The only way Lesnar ends up on the mat is if wants to go there. More than likely, Nog ends up on the mat because just caught the business end of one of those canned hams at the end of Lesnar's arms.

Lesnar-Nog will be a very interesting fight, but I really doubt it's going to be the cakewalk for Nog all the BJJ tards think it will be. Hell, those same tards thought Couture was going to school Lesnar.

Basically, they underestimate Lesnar's talent and skills and his desire to get better and think he is just a product of the WWE. If someone else brought the talent and name recognition to MMA that Lesnar does and doesn't embarass himself in his early fights, they'd get a quick title shot too.

I still want to see a Lesnar-Kongo fight.

Mrs Palin, spare me "the wink". It comes across as the hot chick hitting on a guy to try and get something from them, then not follow thru on the come on. You and your handlers may think it's cute and folksy, but to me and many others, it comes across as decietful and unbecoming of something that claims to be a Washington outsider. So can the wink and the beauty queen schtik and try and act like more like Joe 6 Pack. Then again, you act is designed to con Joe 6 Pack, and he's only going to fall for it if he's drunk or desperate for an imaginary girlfriend.

Your handlers may have conned most of the public into believing that you are just one of us, but you haven't folled me. You're just another puppet for Republican political machine.

Americans now get to face their other addiction they have refused to admit to...credit. While many Americans still won't admit to their oil addiction and continue to drive and use oil based products, the current economic crisis will have a much more direct impact.

I was thrilled when the bailout plan failed. It's about time people were held accountable for their irresponsibility. Yes, Wall Street and the fat cats are major problem, but the average American is also to blame because they bought into the "Greed is Good" mantra and lived way beyond their means. Yes, it's a bad thing to see a family lose thier home, but if they had been fiscally responsible in the first place, they would not have bought a home they couldn't afford with a mortgage that they couldn't afford. When I bought my house, instead of opting for the gimick loan and buying a bigger house, I went for the fixed rate loan because I knew that rates couldn't keep going down forever and that down the line and adjustable rate mortgage would be big trouble when rates started to rise.

Aside from that move, I also stopped using credit cards in 1992, keeping one just in case of emergencies. I have used that card once. In that time, I have paid cash for everything, including my any vehicle I bought. It's amazing what disaplined saving and budgeting can do, especially, if you don't have to bigger, better, faster, newer, RIGHT NOW!!!

Why should I and others who were fiscally responsible have to pay for other people's irresponsibility? What do we get out of the bailout for being smart with our money? I'm prepared for a recession/depression, so bring it on. It's time for American's to pay the piper for excesses. They have no one to blame but themselves and need to suffer their largess.

I remember over 20 years ago in one my of economics classes when the professor said that the current economic system would completely collapse at some point because you can't keep running the country and economy on credit and debt. So much for Trickle Down Deregulation economics. It's was a failure, making the rich richer and poor poorer and almost wiping out the middle class.

The other thing that pisses me off about this bailout is that these fat cats screamed for deregualtion and free markets and didn't want the goverment getting involved in how they ran their business. As soon as they got in financial trouble, they had their hand out to the government begging for money. Sorry, but you wanted deregualtions and a free market and in a free market, you go bankrupt and go away. So long and don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

Here's hoping that no bailout plan gets agreed to becuase I don't want people rewarded for not being smart with their money like I was.
